My name is Madison Mead.

This is me.

I am a graphic designer, interested in the relationship between visual and verbal communication. Utilizing my background in psychology, I strive to create dynamic designs that are visually interesting and communicate effectively through the combination of words and graphic elements.

(This is also me).

Check out some of my design highlights.

Always artistically inclined, I got my first real taste for design when I joined a student magazine at UC Santa Barbara, learning InDesign on the go making layouts for the magazine. My senior year, I took a writing minor in multimedia communication, studying the relationship between visual and verbal communication, picking up more skills in InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Upon graduating as a psychology major with a double minor in English and writing, I did not immediately pursue design. However, in 2021 I could no longer resist the pull toward design and decided to re-submerge myself, enrolling in the Professional Program in Graphic Design through UC Berkeley extension. Now, I am excited to jump in to the professional world of design, looking to connect and help you with your design needs.
